Camp Packing List
It’s time to get ready for camp! Below is a list of what to bring, as well as a list of prohibited items. In addition to your pajamas, sunscreen (or FUNscreen as we call it at camp), and hat, please pack your smiles and your readiness to have fun!
Roundup River Ranch provides the following:
- Sheets, towels, and pillows
- Laundry facilities as needed
The following are suggested amounts of clothing for the session. Please adjust to your child’s personal needs.
- Underwear (7)
- Sleepwear (1)
- Socks (5)
- T-shirts (5)
- Long sleeved t-shirts (3)
- Sweatshirt or fleece (1)
- Long pants (2)
- Shorts (3)
- Sandals/flip flops (1)
- Sneakers (or shoes providing total toe coverage) (2)
- Raincoat/poncho (1)
- Something special or “dressy” to wear for our final night (1)
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Shampoo and soap
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Hairbrush/comb
- Hat/Sunglasses
Please be sure to pack enough toiletries and person hygiene items for the entire session.
NOTE: Clothing must be appropriate for participating in activities. Low-cut tops, short skirts, and heeled shoes are not suitable for participating in activities. We discourage clothing with offensive logos or text.
We also recommend labeling, in permanent marker, your child's name in clothing tags as well.
Recommended optional items:
- Camera and extra batteries
- Flashlight
- Stationary
- Journal
- Musical instrument
- Bedtime items (i.e., a favorite stuffed animal, blanket)
Items that should NOT be brought to camp:
- Cell phones, iPods, radios
- Electronic games
- Laptop computers
- Knives, lighters, matches, sharp tools, weapons of any sort
- Personal sports equipment (i.e., rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles)
- Cigarettes, alcohol
- Valuables (i.e., jewelry, watches)
- Food items (i.e., snacks, chewing gum, candy)
- Money (There is nowhere to spend money at camp)
