Camp Site

Our 85-acre campsite is located two hours west of Denver nestled in a canyon north of Interstate 70 along the Colorado River. The site sits at 6,300 feet in elevation, ensuring no adverse impact on illnesses.

Proximity to The Children’s Hospital in Denver, the Denver International Airport and the Eagle County Airport makes transportation for our campers convenient, which is important to a child attending camp or traveling on their own for the first time.

Roundup River Ranch will offer traditional camp programs such as arts and crafts, boating, fishing, archery, high and low ropes courses, theater and horseback riding. Activities will provide campers with the opportunity to achieve success regardless of their medical condition.

Our goal is to ultimately serve 120 campers per session during eight one-week sessions with additional year-round programming for families, siblings and camper reunions. Appropriate facilities will house campers, counselors and volunteers and full and part-time camp staff.
